Position Title: BizTalk DeveloperLocation:

Mechanicsburg, PA

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience with BizTalk technologies.
  • Proficiency in the .NET Framework.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as VB.NET and C#.NET.
  • Experience with Extensible Markup Language (XML).
  • Knowledge of Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT).
  • Understanding of XML Schema Definition Language (XSD).
  • Experience with REST Services, JSON, and Swagger.
  • Development and utilization of Web Services.
  • Expertise in BizTalk best practices and design patterns.
  • Proficient in BizTalk functionalities including ESB, custom pipelines, functoids, and error handling.
  • Experience in message processing, both synchronous and asynchronous.
  • Familiarity with BTDF (Deployment Framework) and automation through scripting.
Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of Azure, GitHub, ADO, and API development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage BizTalk packages, including but not limited to:
    • SOAP services
    • JSON services
    • File processing services
    • Implementation of existing MSU Common Framework and design standards.
  2. Automate the build and deployment of BizTalk packages:
    • Utilization of MSBuild scripts
    • Implementation of BTDF
    • Use of PowerShell or alternative methods for deployment automation.
  3. Engage in requirements gathering sessions.
  4. Oversee configuration and change management.
  5. Track and resolve defects.
  6. Plan and ensure test coverage and proficiency.
  7. Manage version control and production release cycles.
  8. Document user and system-level processes.
