Position Overview

The Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) Support is responsible for preparing essential documentation and ensuring the accuracy of shipment details, including dimensional discrepancies and pallet counts. This role involves collaborating with Government Logistics Management Specialists to confirm that all materials are accounted for in each shipment. Furthermore, the LMS Support works closely with the Operations team and Hazmat personnel during the processing of planned shipment packets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares and verifies documentation to address inaccuracies in dimensional discrepancies and ensure accurate pallet counts for shipments.
  • Collaborates with Government Logistics Management Specialists to confirm the completeness of all materials in each shipment.
  • Coordinates with the Operations team and Hazmat personnel during the processing of planned shipment packets.
  • Maintains and distributes the Global Priority Shipment (GPS) spreadsheet.
  • Facilitates and compiles responses to SCO Surveys post-shipment delivery.
  • Undertakes special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education / Certifications: One year of relevant experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
    • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Not required.
  • Skills & Technology:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Access, PowerPoint).
    • Strong technical and documentation skills.
    • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
