Job Description

As a Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. You will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on our products, and ensure timely resolution of any customer concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting relevant products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, driving sales growth and loyalty
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, consistently delivering results-driven performance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, features, and benefits, providing expert advice to customers
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse customer groups
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Basic math skills, with ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of products
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license, with ability to operate a company vehicle (if applicable)
  • Previous experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
  • Knowledge of paint and coatings products, with ability to provide expert advice to customers
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
