Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives for each fiscal period with defined goals.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to independent dealers, prioritizing based on sales strategy and product offerings.
  • Identify dealer opportunities and foster strong relationships.
  • Provide sales support through product knowledge, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
  • Communicate essential sales programs and updates regarding Sharp's brand and product information.
  • Facilitate web-based training for dealers and sales representatives.
  • Coordinate trade show participation and manage meeting schedules.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams regarding sales deals, challenges, and competitive insights.
  • Ensure all internal databases are updated with dealer information.

Additional Duties

  • Manage key accounts, including specific retail and e-commerce partners.
  • Attend industry trade shows to present and generate new sales leads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealer staff, including owners and sales personnel.
  • Address dealer concerns by collaborating with internal teams on financial and service-related issues.
  • Work closely with the assigned sales leader to maximize brand success.
  • Provide regular updates to management on performance metrics and dealer needs.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Sales with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, particularly in consumer electronics or home appliances.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 60% within the designated territory.
