This program spans eight (8) weeks and offers practical experience within an Automotive Branch, aimed at equipping successful participants with a thorough educational journey through hands-on involvement.

Selected individuals will undergo training within an Automotive Branch located in the Central-West Region including:

Minnesota South Dakota Nebraska Kansas Oklahoma Iowa Missouri Arkansas

Throughout this initiative, participants will acquire vital knowledge in sales, customer relations, financial management, and strategic business planning to enhance operational effectiveness. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to engage in professional networking to foster collaborative relationships with departments such as Marketing, Operations, and Research & Development.

Our training program is designed to equip you with the competencies essential for a successful career in management and professional sales. Upon successful completion of the eight-week training initiative, participants will advance into an available Assistant Branch Manager role.

Please note that this position requires relocation during the training phase and for placement into the Assistant Branch Manager role following the successful conclusion of the SMTI.

The Sales Management Trainees will assist Branch Managers in critical aspects of branch operations, including:

Formulating branch market strategies based on market dynamics, branch objectives, and financial targets Executing business tactics to boost sales and maximize profitability Enhancing product knowledge to provide effective customer recommendations Delivering outstanding customer service Ensuring accurate completion and documentation of customer orders and transactions Managing branch inventory levels Adhering to policies and procedures, including safety, loss prevention, and security Supporting employee training, development, performance evaluation, and corrective measures Addressing and resolving customer and/or employee grievances Assisting in identifying staffing requirements and developing work schedules Analyzing management and financial reports, including financial ratios related to Profit & Loss (P&L) Assisting with deliveries as necessary

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally Must hold at least a bachelor's degree by the commencement of this training initiative Must be willing to relocate for this position, if necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to relocate, as required, upon completion of the training initiative Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Management, Business, Operations, or Supply Chain At least one (1) year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service role Previous experience in a team-oriented environment, including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc. At least one (1) year of experience in leadership positions, supervising others, or leading teams
