Position Overview:
The Stefanini Group is seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician to support our clients in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality and safety of biomedical equipment in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and troubleshooting biomedical equipment issues, executing necessary repairs, and conducting routine maintenance and safety inspections to facilitate healthcare delivery.
- Complying with company policies and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance standards, ensuring meticulous documentation of all performed tasks.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through effective communication to guarantee timely resolutions and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring the proper maintenance of tools and testing equipment to uphold calibration standards and deliver precise repairs and maintenance.
- Promptly identifying and reporting any quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization to uphold the highest ethical standards in service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in a hospital environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Background in electronics.
- Experience in the biomedical field.
Basic Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
- An Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, military training, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing medical equipment.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in medical equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with electronic digital circuitry and electro-mechanical devices.
- Ability to interpret schematic diagrams.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
- Physical capability to lift or move up to 35 lbs.
