Key Responsibilities:
As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and diagnosing issues with biomedical equipment, executing necessary repairs, and conducting routine maintenance and safety inspections to facilitate optimal healthcare delivery.
- Complying with organizational policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations to ensure all activities meet compliance standards; maintaining thorough documentation of all tasks performed.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients through regular communication to guarantee timely resolutions and ongoing satisfaction.
- Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of tools and testing equipment to provide accurate and efficient repair services.
- Promptly identifying and reporting any quality or compliance issues to the Quality Organization to uphold the highest ethical standards in service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
We value candidates with:
- Experience in hospital environments.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Background in electronics.
- Previous biomedical experience.
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- An Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, military training, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing medical equipment.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of medical devices.
- Proficiency in electronic digital circuitry and familiarity with electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret schematic diagrams effectively.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory; sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 35lbs.
