POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment. This role emphasizes our core values and guiding principles, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance:

  • Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assist in merchandise selection based on customer preferences.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and maintain visual and pricing standards.
  • Uphold merchandise handling and presentation standards, as well as loss prevention protocols.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store layouts and maintenance.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Exemplify and promote the principles of Outstanding Personal Service (OPS), ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Facilitate a quick and efficient checkout process, staying updated on payment policies, coupon use, returns, and exchanges.
  • Encourage additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enroll clients in loyalty programs.
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Maintain awareness of current product offerings and styles available in-store and online.
  • Ensure consistent communication with clients through a customer tracking system.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Assist in inventory replenishment to keep the store well-stocked.
  • Support fulfillment activities.
  • Participate in visual merchandising tasks, including floor setups and signage placement.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the boutique.

Team Collaboration and Development:

  • Encourage a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seek opportunities for personal growth and actively request feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to adapt to technology used by the company.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet operational needs, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regular walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent climbing as part of daily responsibilities.

This position may be available across various brands, and specific duties may differ accordingly.
