Job Summary

BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at our Opioid Treatment Program. As a Counselor or Counselor in Training, you will play a vital role in assisting patients through medically assisted treatments and providing techniques for handling opioid addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services, including direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals, to assist patients in crisis management and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other counselors to ensure patients achieve overall treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and implement aftercare plans and discharge plans to support patients in their recovery journey.
  • Conduct quality assurance file reviews to ensure accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in behavioral science and counseling/case management experience.
  • A Certified CDP or a person who meets the requirements of a certified CDP in the state of Washington, and who is eligible to take the examination required for certification.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
Compensation and Benefits

Counselor: Salary ranges from $23.92 to $24.91 an hour. CIT: Salary ranges from $21.22 to $22.22 an hour. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty, and training.
