Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting in Port Orchard, WA. As a contract SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with students and provide individualized therapy sessions to support their speech and language development.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs and determine if new referrals qualify for services
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload and provide reports of student progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Washington SLP license
  • ESA (Education Staff Associate) credential for Speech-Language Pathologists
