Job Description

As a key member of the Vail Resorts team, the Rental Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our ski and snowboard rental department. This includes managing a team of up to 50 frontline staff and a leadership team of 5-6, providing exceptional guest service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of retail and rental operations, including merchandising, financial management, and inventory control.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure excellent guest service and sales performance.
  • Develop and execute operational plans for special events, groups, and holidays.
  • Identify sales opportunities and create plans to drive growth.
  • Manage retail and rental inventory, supplies, and costs.
  • Hire and process payroll for staff.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
  • 2 years in retail or rental experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and passion for snowsports.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Benefits:

  • Full-time, weekend, and holiday shifts available.
