About the Role:
CareAlliance LLC is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical first contact between patients and CareAlliance Health Center, greeting and addressing patient questions, requests for appointments or medical advice.
- Direct patients through the check-in/check-out process, collect and update pertinent demographics, guarantor and insurance information in the Practice Management System/Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
- Modify clinical staff schedules as needed.
- Work with underserved and disadvantaged persons, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and a commitment to serving diverse populations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing excellent organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
- Provide exceptional reception, telephone, and customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for patients.
- Commit to the mission of CareAlliance, upholding our values of compassion, respect, and excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of Patient Services experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical records Experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using EPIC.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and converse in English and Spanish.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.
