Role Summary

The Safety and Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring comprehensive security measures are in place throughout the facility and regularly communicates findings to the Lead Security Supervisor or Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Uphold regulatory laws and standards.
  2. Document and submit Security Incident Reports to the Security Manager.
  3. Maintain vigilant oversight to guarantee the safety of patrons, staff, and company assets.
  4. Adhere to internal protocols to ensure security personnel do not engage in activities that conflict with operational procedures.
  5. Access relevant systems to conduct financial transactions and assist clients.
  6. Meet attendance expectations by consistently reporting to work as scheduled.
  7. Represent the organization positively.
  8. Maintain professional appearance in accordance with company policy.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Officer Duties

Monitor and report on issues related to the safety of patrons and employees.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

A High School Diploma or GED is required. A minimum of one year of security experience is preferred, with additional experience in Tribal Law Enforcement, Military, or Civilian Police being advantageous.

Language Proficiency

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Capable of analyzing and interpreting business documents, professional journals, and governmental regulations. Proficient in writing reports and business correspondence. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a team-oriented mindset, are essential.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply basic to advanced mathematical concepts for accurate report generation.

Computer Proficiency

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications is preferred.

Reasoning Skills

Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Capable of addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certifications and Licenses

Possession of a Class III Gaming License issued by the relevant authority and a valid driver's license.

Working Environment
