Job Title: Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Race Winning Brands, a leading manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join its team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing business support and financial leadership to the company's North America operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide indispensable counsel to senior leaders, influencing critical financial decisions and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Offer actionable insights to shape financial strategies within your functional domain.
  • Create an action plan to address discrepancies and unforeseen circumstances.
  • Craft and execute financial strategies, leveraging predictive analytics and data-driven approaches.
  • Effectively communicate plans to both internal stakeholders and board members, fostering collaborative decision-making processes.
  • Investment Decision Support: Participate actively in strategic investment discussions, offering informed recommendations to facilitate business growth.
  • Influence and drive decisions related to the P&L, diligently steering the organization towards its financial commitments.
  • Implement corrective measures and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, driving financial competency and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data by reviewing, developing, and implementing robust financial policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate forecasting and budgeting processes, working closely with leadership to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
  • Generate regular financial reports and present them to executive management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends.
  • Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for improving operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor cash flow positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant supervisory or management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
