As the HVAC Service Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue opportunities for service agreements and projects that enable our clients to operate efficiently, while also exploring larger initiatives that assist in modernizing their HVAC systems and enhancing operational efficiency.

This position is ideal for individuals who excel in establishing and nurturing strong relationships, possess an exceptional customer service mindset, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The perfect candidate will be skilled at assessing and understanding both the immediate and long-term needs of clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the complete range of Carrier HVAC Service offerings (including service agreements, repairs, modernizations, and system replacements).
  • Develop and maintain Sales Territory and Account strategies.
  • Engage at industry events to foster new and existing customer relationships and opportunities.
  • Articulate Carrier's value propositions by aligning customer objectives with Carrier solutions.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipelines.

  • Ability to learn and present Carrier products and solutions with credibility.
  • Experience in identifying and qualifying potential Carrier customers.
  • Capability to maintain customer relationships and enhance account growth.
  • Proficiency in developing and proposing technical repair solutions.
  • Ability to convey the value of Carrier offerings in relation to customer needs.
  • Understanding of customer purchasing processes and adaptability in selling style.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented with a prompt response to inquiries.
  • Consistent achievement of sales performance metrics and targets.
  • Effective negotiation skills for service agreement renewals.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC sales.
  • Physical capability to lift/carry 20 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and work on roofs/platforms.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle record background check.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Comfortable operating in a technical environment with Microsoft software.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills for effective proposals and customer correspondence.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in selling service agreements directly to end users.
  • Ability to cross-sell and upsell to expand the existing customer base.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
