Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our Child and Adolescent Ambulatory Services team at Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN). This role involves providing direct and indirect clinical services to children and adolescents in need of mental health care. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing age-appropriate care, including crisis assessment, intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, team/community collaboration, patient/family education, and triage/discharge planning.

About the Team:
The Child and Adolescent Ambulatory Services team provides outpatient mental health services to children and adolescents in need of mental health care. We are a collaborative team that works together to provide comprehensive care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect clinical services to children and adolescents in need of mental health care.
- Responsible for the provision of age-appropriate care, including crisis assessment, intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, team/community collaboration, patient/family education, and triage/discharge planning.
- May provide flexible coverage to another service within Behavioral Health on a short-term basis.

Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or related field from an accredited program.
- Licensure in the State of Connecticut as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LADC.
- Minimum one year experience in family therapy with the age group served, preferably in the Behavioral Health Field.
- Training and/or familiarity with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), abuse and neglect reporting, duty-to-warn mandates, community-based resources, and pre-authorization and billing processes preferred.

Salary Range:
$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
