Donor Engagement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Donor Engagement Specialist to join our team at Corus International. This role will play a critical part in growing and sustaining our donor base through effective communication, relationship-building, and strategic fundraising initiatives.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of donor engagement principles and practices, with experience in developing and implementing multi-channel fundraising campaigns. They will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with individual donors, managing third-party giving strategies, and ensuring key donor relationships are cultivated and stewarded.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in donor engagement and fundraising, with a passion for delivering high-quality results-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and nurture relationships with individual donors, including core donor groups and major gift prospects
- Develop and implement multi-channel fundraising campaigns to grow and sustain the donor base
- Manage third-party giving strategies, including workplace giving, combined federal campaigns, and fraternal organizations
- Ensure key donor relationships are cultivated and stewarded through regular communication and stewardship activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated fundraising strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and five years professional work experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience must include working in a fundraising capacity for a nonprofit organization
- Strong understanding of donor engagement principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
