About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Engagement Specialist to join our team at the Federation of American Scientists (FAS). As a key member of our Strategy and Engagement team, you will play a vital role in driving forward our organization's mission and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, including project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect and analyze data, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with federal government officials, advocating for sound policy and promoting the interests of FAS.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a nonprofit organization or consulting environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to drive action and deliver results.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
