My Spot is looking for a dedicated full-time Billing Specialist. This role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. The Billing Specialist is responsible for generating and processing precise invoices, ensuring they are issued promptly with the correct pricing and terms. Attention to detail is paramount as they will review and verify billing information, working closely with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies.

The specialist will also engage with clients to address billing inquiries and facilitate timely payments. Proficiency in billing software is crucial for success in this position. This role plays a significant part in ensuring transparent financial transactions, thereby contributing to the overall financial health of My Spot.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST

Salary: $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually enter all Texas Medicaid claims into the TMHP web portal.
  • Track claims that have been entered and those that remain unbilled.
  • Assist in various areas of EVV as required.
  • Review billing information meticulously and collaborate with internal teams for resolution.
  • Interact with clients to manage billing inquiries and ensure prompt payments.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with Texas Medicaid and billing for Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy services.
  • Strong attention to detail for reviewing and verifying billing information.
  • Proficiency in billing software and systems.
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions and payment facilitation.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Previous experience in billing or a related financial role is preferred.
