Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in supporting the operational business needs of NRG Energy by communicating with and addressing all customer needs and inquiries. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
  • Work collaboratively with field employees and management to ensure that customer needs are met and that operational business needs are supported.
  • Complete all applicable administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of NRG Energy's products and services, as well as industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license required.
