Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with program managers to identify funding needs and priorities.
Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities aligned with our mission and objectives.
Develop and write grant proposals, ensuring alignment with grant guidelines and requirements.
Compile supporting documents, data, and evidence to strengthen grant applications.
Maintain thorough records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes.
Cultivate relationships with funders, donors, and community partners to support ongoing fundraising efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or Social Sciences).
Proven experience in grant writing, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Strong research skills and ability to analyze and synthesize complex information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusivity.
Familiarity with issues related to youth incarceration, racial justice, and community empowerment is preferred.
