Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives and developing and executing sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the designated area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets, excellent leadership and team management skills, and the ability to analyze sales metrics and data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the designated area.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring high performance and achievement of individual and team goals.
- Identify potential markets and business opportunities, establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and maximize sales outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
- Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar sales leadership role.
- Strong track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in analyzing sales metrics and data.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to the Pacific Time time zone.
- Willingness to travel within the designated sales area as required.
