Job DescriptionAt AAA Electric Motors Sales and Service, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.Key Responsibilities:• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store• Communicate with customers to understand their purchasing needs and specifications• Answer incoming sales phone calls and respond to customer inquiries• Assist in ordering merchandise, checking and restocking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment• Provide professional and quality customer service to ensure customer satisfaction• Sell products, answer questions, and provide accurate information to customers• Address and resolve customers' complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner• Process payments and refunds, and maintain accurate records• Research new product requests and write orders as needed• Adhere to the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the store, and maintain a safe and clean work environment• Compile and maintain sales reports and other documentation as requiredRequirements:• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in retail management, marketing, or business administration preferred• Prior working experience as a Counter Sales, Sales Representative, or a similar role in HVAC/R industry• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time• Basic computer literacy and skills, including cash handling and point-of-sale systems• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to work in a team environment• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues• Outstanding sales skills and persuasiveness, with the ability to meet sales targets and goals• Problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesBenefits:• Competitive hourly rate: $20 - $30 per hour• Part-time schedule: 24 - 30 hours per week• Mandated benefits, including [insert benefits]
