Senior Engineering Software Procurement Manager

Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in integrating all facets of Engineering Software functions into the Enterprise Services Strategy and Transformation Initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with suppliers, Enterprise Services leaders, and functional service owners to enhance supplier capabilities and develop category strategies tailored for internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development & Negotiation: Formulate and oversee strategies for Engineering Software contracts, ensuring favorable terms that align with technical, financial, and performance goals.
- Contract Review & Drafting: Assess, draft, and modify a variety of contracts, including software licenses and master agreements.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders such as legal, finance, and cybersecurity teams to ensure contract terms align with organizational objectives.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and fostering quality and opportunity development.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks within contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of all contract negotiations, drafts, and finalized agreements.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in software contracting.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements in deal tracking and contract management processes to boost efficiency.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in Sourcing and Procurement Management, with at least 5 years focused on Digital.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various software licensing models for Engineering Software.
- Proven track record in negotiating software/SaaS contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Teams.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contractual obligations.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to translate requirements into actionable strategies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
- Experience in developing impactful presentations for leadership reviews.
