Community Diversion Coordinator

We are seeking a Community Diversion Coordinator to join our team at South Middlesex Opportunites. This is a critical position that requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can make a positive impact in the lives of others.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in case management, with experience in Motivational Interviewing and knowledge of housing laws and regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a flexible schedule and work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Attend Housing Case Management team meetings.
- Network with community partners to maintain knowledge of mental health, behavioral health, and physical health services.
- Assist individuals in resolving their housing crises through landlord mediation and/or conversations with family/friends.
