Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with business owners and presidents to market and secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for daily sales appointments and conducting face-to-face meetings with business owners and presidents
  • Directing sales appointments to secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements
  • Providing feedback to the Business Coordinator and sharing new business lead opportunities
  • Reviewing daily successes and challenges with the Sales Manager and receiving sales support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; we will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Good communicator with excellent listening skills and ability to uncover client pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately

What We Offer:

  • This is a commission-only position with residual income and daily cash bonuses; $100K-$110K realistic first-year earnings
  • Potential to earn high six-figure commissions
  • Comprehensive new hire and ongoing training and development
  • Full benefits after 60 days of employment and 401k after one year
  • Protected territory and pre-set appointments
