We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Apprentice to join our team at Bell Plumbing and Heating Co. in Denver. As a leading provider of home service solutions, we offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth and development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC-related equipment, following manufacturer's specifications and company policies
  • Carry out wiring of low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment
  • Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
  • Install flex and sheet metal duct systems
  • Ensure proper connection of gas lines to heating equipment
  • Determine necessary materials for installation work by pre-measuring jobs
  • Receive and load materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle
  • Provide support to team members to complete tasks on time, as instructed by management
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with superiors and co-workers
  • Accurately complete paperwork for each job
  • Conduct readings on machines, understanding implications of results
  • Keep assigned company vehicle clean
  • Perform other duties as directed by management

Requirements:

  • Interest in learning HVAC through hands-on experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in heat and cold for extended periods
  • Ability to lift heavy items safely
  • Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or kneel continually

Preferred Requirements:

  • 1 year experience as HVAC installer

Eligibility for employment at Bell Plumbing and Heating Co. is contingent upon a background check with no felony convictions within the last 5 years. A clean Motor Vehicle Record is also required, with no driving under the influence, vehicular manslaughter, or other specified offenses within the last 5 years.
