Oncology Research Coordinator

Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing research activities related to oncology studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols, and managing patient interactions throughout the research process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study Coordination: Familiarize yourself with study protocols and requirements. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate the execution of clinical trials.
  • Patient Management: Assess patient health and report findings to the Principal Investigator. Schedule follow-up procedures as necessary.
  • Conducting Research: Organize patient visits and laboratory tests. Administer investigational drugs under supervision and maintain adherence to Good Clinical Practices.
  • Subject Recruitment: Develop and implement recruitment strategies. Screen potential participants based on inclusion/exclusion criteria.
  • Documentation: Maintain regulatory documents and ensure accurate reporting of study data. Work with data coordinators to complete case report forms.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in a relevant field with at least one year of experience, or a Master's degree with five years of progressive experience in grant management and quality assurance, or a Bachelor's degree with eight years of relevant experience.

Skills Required:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
