Department Overview

The Georgia Cancer Center is at the forefront of cancer research and treatment, striving to provide exceptional care that benefits patients both locally and globally. Role Summary

The selected candidate will perform advanced administrative and technical functions to support clinical research initiatives. This role involves managing multiple large-scale, multi-center clinical trials sponsored by various entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops new clinical trial research protocols for regulatory submission, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and institutional policies.
  • Oversees regulatory activities related to the management of ongoing clinical research protocols, including amendments, financial disclosures, and adverse event reporting.
  • Facilitates the upload of regulatory documents into designated systems and provides support to clinical investigators and staff.
  • Acts as a liaison among clinical trial sponsors, investigators, and regulatory bodies, coordinating efforts throughout the trial lifecycle.
  • Creates and maintains training schedules for research staff, ensuring adherence to compliance best practices.
  • Conducts quality control inspections of clinical trials to verify regulatory compliance.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required:
Master's degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of clinical research experience.

Preferred:
Certification in Clinical Research.

Skills and Competencies

Proficient knowledge of regulatory guidelines and strong computer skills are essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
