About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Area Supervisor to join our team at Ross Stores, Inc. As an Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train a team of retail associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory levels, and shrinkage.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and implement company-wide initiatives.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
