Position Summary: The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Excellence will oversee a team of Supply Chain Business Analysts tasked with evaluating the daily performance of the Supply Chain organization against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role involves developing metrics, tracking performance, reporting data, assessing trends, and presenting information to corporate leadership while creating comprehensive cross-functional reporting tools and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Supply Chain Business Analysts, ensuring their development aligns with the directives of the Supply Chain Vice President.
  • Continuously assess the performance of the Supply Chain organization against existing and newly developed metrics.
  • Analyze business parameters across various Elbit America sites, focusing on industry standards and best-in-class metrics such as inventory management, operations planning, material receipts, supplier quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Conduct year-over-year spend analysis to support category purchasing management.
  • Contribute to the overall development and digital transformation initiatives of the organization for enhanced capabilities.
  • Lead Lean projects aimed at improving efficiency and streamlining processes.
  • Drive the resolution of performance issues with actionable plans.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and foster collaboration across Elbit America.
  • Work with site Supply Chain leaders to assess labor requirements and optimize personnel utilization and workflow.
  • Maintain effective communication with all Supply Chain departments regarding operations, issues, activities, and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with site, ESA, and international affiliate employees to achieve cost reduction, system improvement, and supplier enhancement objectives.
  • Develop training materials tailored for various Elbit America sites, focusing on Supply Chain KPI measurements and data analysis.
  • Support executive decision-making by providing accessible and user-friendly data through reliable dashboards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a robust Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Forecast and report inventory shortfalls, including action tracking.
  • Create comprehensive procedures to ensure adherence to established processes.
  • Evaluate existing processes and recommend solutions for improvement and restructuring.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional teams and management.
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is required; an MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in data analytics is essential.
  • Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification, along with relevant training or project completion, is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis or a related field is required.
  • Experience with Material Management and ERP systems, with at least 8 years of ERP experience or equivalent.
  • Commodity Management experience is desirable.
  • Strong background in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with fixed pricing agreements and vendor-managed inventory.
  • Proficient in creating detailed reports and graphical presentations.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
