Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Supervise and train logistics team members, providing guidance and support.
- Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and customer information.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Manage and resolve any logistics-related incidents or problems.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in logistics technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a logistics role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, procedures, and regulations.
- Proficient in using logistics software and systems.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work 3rd shift hours and overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as necessary.
