Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education ARD Facilitator to join our team. As an ARD Facilitator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our students with disabilities receive the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and facilitate Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and ensure timely notification of parents and school personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state timelines for ARD Committee meetings and required documentation.
  • Write and monitor ARD paperwork, including Individual Transition Plans and required reports.
  • Maintain systematic communication between special and general education personnel regarding ARD meetings, IEPs, and student accommodations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Special Education certification.
  • Three years teaching experience, including experience teaching students with disabilities.
  • Satisfactory outcome of a background check.
