Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of technicians, fostering a culture of engagement and high performance.
  • Maintain accurate shop records and manage inventory effectively to support smooth operations.
  • Serve as the process leader, establishing and refining work standards with input from technicians and the broader team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and uphold the collision center's safety protocols.
  • Address technical and personnel challenges collaboratively with team members.
  • Schedule staff to meet repair demands while adhering to company policies regarding time off.
  • Oversee the selection and training of team members, facilitating their professional growth through regular developmental meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members to align on goals and operational updates.
  • Collaborate with the Collision Manager to enhance shop productivity in alignment with company objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in collision repair or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a collision-focused environment is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain accountability for quality and output.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to lead root cause analysis initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with flexibility to work varied hours.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with repair estimates is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
