About the Role

As a CBRE Workplace Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to employees, guests, clients, and visitors of a designated building.

Working onsite in Chicago, IL, USA, you will be the first point of contact for all individuals entering the facility, providing a welcoming and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue visitor and parking passes, and follow security protocols
  • Answer the telephone in a professional manner and create presentations for various-sized groups
  • Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of requestors
  • Handle janitorial or maintenance work orders as needed, and coordinate workplace services including mail and office supply services
  • Provide solutions to inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and coworkers in a professional and customer-focused manner
  • Organize and manage on-site events, including securing event space, setup, and teardown, and delivery of supplies
  • Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures, and notify appropriate parties to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building
  • Coordinate with vendors who supply services or goods to the workplace
  • Explain detailed and/or complicated information within the team, and follow specific directions as given by the manager
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality
