Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Francis Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians to provide high-quality clinical services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation of care, within the scope of practice established by state law.
  • Consult and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide coordinated services to patients and their families.
  • Document services according to established policies and procedures, including preparation of the medical record and billing documents.
  • Recommend and perform procedures and treatments as necessary and according to established protocols.
  • Initiate drug therapy, taking responsibility for such therapy when performed prior to consultation with a physician.
  • Promote patient wellness by providing patient education.
  • Utilize advanced clinical knowledge or experience to resolve patient questions and to meet patient needs.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and safety functions.
  • Assist in identifying and ordering needed supplies.
  • Remain informed and compliant with current health system and regulatory policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
  • Valid State of Oklahoma APRN License with current Specialty Certification.
  • Valid State of Oklahoma BON Prescriptive Authority Recognition.
  • 2 years related experience.
Working Relationship

Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
