Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative II to join our team at Foothill Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional member service, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, while maintaining accurate records and balancing cash drawers.
  • Support and promote all marketing campaigns, achieving cross-sell goals by promoting and selling products and services to fit members' needs.
  • Assist in processing school bags and balancing the cash vault, while maintaining a welcoming and friendly environment for members.
  • Perform tasks independently, analyzing research and resolving problems with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of credit union/banking experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of the industry served is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve member issues and concerns effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate member records.
  • Capacity to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency preferred.

Hourly Wage: $19.00 - $22.19
