This position demands a proactive individual who can efficiently drive incidents to resolution while ensuring optimal system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Lead and oversee urgent incident responses with a focus on efficiency. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate system issues across various technology stacks.
  • Full-Stack Proficiency: Apply extensive knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies to swiftly understand and debug system challenges. Implement solutions that address all layers of the application and infrastructure.
  • Enterprise Systems Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of enterprise-level network and middleware technologies to identify root causes of incidents and propose sustainable solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Initiate continuous improvement efforts by analyzing incident patterns, identifying recurring problems, and implementing proactive strategies to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other IT teams to ensure effective incident management. Facilitate post-incident reviews and disseminate learnings throughout the organization.
  • Automation and Tool Development: Create and implement automation tools and scripts to streamline diagnostic processes, incident response, and resolution. Provide insights on enhanced monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system modifications to promote knowledge sharing and compliance with IT governance standards.
  • Training and Mentorship: Offer training and guidance to junior SRE team members and associated teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field with a focus on incident management.
  • Extensive knowledge of full-stack technologies and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Expertise in enterprise network architectures, protocols, middleware technologies, and API management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex issues across multiple technology stacks.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Shell, Python).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams during high-pressure incidents.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, AWS, Networking) are advantageous.
