Job Summary
We're seeking a seasoned equipment specialist to join our team. As a senior team member, you'll be responsible for performing expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This will involve observing devices in operation, identifying root causes of problems, and implementing repairs. You'll also be responsible for sourcing parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary, and collaborating with customers to optimize maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, ensuring factory equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
- Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely repairs.
- Collaborate with customers to develop and implement maintenance procedures, improving overall factory performance.
- Conduct on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, analyzing problems and synthesizing solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school graduate or equivalent (GED) and at least 10 years of related experience in the specific industry.
- Associates degree with a technical focus and 10 years of related experience in the specific industry, or 12 years of experience in the specific industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and implement repairs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.

Location
This role is based in the Charlotte region, with extensive travel required locally, nationally, and internationally. You'll work in a fast-paced factory environment, often in confined spaces, and may be exposed to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery factory floors.
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
