Role Summary:

We are currently seeking empathetic and skilled Medication Care Partners (Certified Medication Technicians) to join our dedicated team in our esteemed retirement community.

As a Medication Care Partner, you will be responsible for delivering direct support to our senior residents, adhering to personalized medication and treatment protocols in a nurturing environment. Available Positions: Full-time and Part-time roles across various shifts: 1st shift (7a-3p), 2nd shift (3-11p), and 3rd shift (11p-7a).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents, ensuring adherence to prescribed schedules.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in resident conditions.
  • Coordinate with pharmacies for medication orders and deliveries.
  • Keep medication records and files up to date.
  • Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities as needed.
  • Encourage resident independence and emotional well-being through engagement and companionship.
  • Support participation in enrichment activities.
  • Facilitate open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented attitude with a passion for working with individuals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, including medication administration in a community setting.
  • Experience in Memory Care is advantageous.
  • Must hold a current state Certified Medication Technician (CMA) license.
  • Must possess a valid caregiver license as per state regulations (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
