Position Overview: Recreation Therapist

We are seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the role of a Recreation Therapist. This position requires:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field such as Recreation, Physical Education, or Adaptive Physical Education, accompanied by a minimum of one year of experience in developing and implementing therapeutic recreation initiatives.
  • Current certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or licensure as a Creative Arts Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and facilitating engaging activities tailored for diverse client groups.
  • Assessing and interpreting behavioral patterns to enhance client outcomes.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during regular meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
