Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products. We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Analyst to join our legal team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employment law, litigation support, and compliance procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative, litigation, and compliance support to our Assistant General Counsels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance with matter intake, including processing notices of claims, interviewing witnesses, gathering documents, and collaborating with supervising attorneys on strategic approaches
  • Supporting supervising attorneys in managing employment litigation, administrative, and arbitration matters
  • Reviewing and analyzing EEOC charges of discrimination and drafting written responses for review by supervising attorneys
  • Managing the Speak Up Program, including providing training, overseeing investigation assignments, performing quality assurance tasks, and preparing quarterly program board reports
  • Drafting policies, coordinating change management plans, and implementing policy-related processes, tools, resources, and training
  • Serving as the Corporate Policy Library administrator, ensuring compliance with policy governance standards
  • Managing Compliance and Privacy mailboxes to address issues raised in a timely manner
  • Assisting attorneys with Legal Hub updates, filing, case management, calendaring, invoice processing, and routine communications with internal clients and outside counsel

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in an HR or legal department
  • Experience conducting investigations and/or compliance work within an organization
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities using a detail-oriented approach to investigation processes
  • Working knowledge of corporate ethics principles, compliance regulations, and applicable federal and state employment laws
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
