Assistant Restaurant Manager - Thriving Brewpub Establishment

$50,000 - $60,000 + appealing quarterly incentive program

We are in search of a passionate and skilled Assistant Restaurant Manager to become a part of our team. As a key player in the craft beer and elevated pub cuisine industry, we are committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences through exceptional food, beverages, and hospitality. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support daily operations, assist in staff management, and help maintain our high standards of quality and service.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience in a managerial role within a busy restaurant environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification is required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations Oversight:

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.
  • Support inventory management and cost control initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant personnel.
  • Establish clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Promote a positive work atmosphere and encourage teamwork.
  • Conduct performance assessments and implement corrective measures as necessary.

Guest Service Excellence:

  • Ensure outstanding guest service is provided at all times.
  • Resolve customer issues and foster a positive dining experience.
  • Monitor guest feedback and initiate improvements as needed.

Financial Oversight:

  • Assist in monitoring financial performance and achieving budgetary objectives.
  • Analyze sales and revenue data to inform decision-making.
  • Control operational expenses and enhance profitability.

Marketing and Community Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies.
  • Enhance restaurant visibility through community involvement and local marketing initiatives.

Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant environment.
  • Uphold the brand's integrity and reputation.
