We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at Suburban Inns. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the highest standards of service and quality in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service and Experience
- Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, making personal connections to ensure they feel valued and appreciated.
- Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Team Management and Development
- Schedule and manage Front of House personnel to ensure optimal labor utilization and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Front of House staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure that all Front of House areas, equipment, and fixtures are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
- Conduct regular inventory and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Administrative and Reporting
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on Front of House performance, including sales, labor, and guest satisfaction metrics.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of employee hours, payroll, and benefits.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of job-related experience preferred.
- Certifications and Training
- ServSafe Food Certification required; TIPS Certification preferred.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
