FOH Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at Suburban Inns. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the highest standards of service and quality in our restaurants.

• Guest Service and Experience
  • Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, making personal connections to ensure they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Ensure the correct appearance, cleanliness, and safety of Front of House areas, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
• Team Management and Development
  • Schedule Front of House personnel according to labor guidelines established by the Restaurant Manager.
  • Lead, manage, and hold Team Members accountable to the standards of employment and job performance set by Suburban Inns' Core Values.
  • Develop and implement side work, opening, and closing procedures that adhere to SI/Big E's standards and safety protocols.
• Operations and Administration
  • Complete monthly inventories, pricing, cost controls, requisitioning, and issuing for beer and liquor.
  • Review and approve payroll for Front of House Team Members, ensuring that hours and payable items input are accurate and adhere to the appropriate labor laws.
  • Prepare reports and schedules, and perform other administrative duties as required.
• Quality and Safety
  • Ensure all Front of House Team Members are TIPS and/or ServSafe certified.
  • Monitor Front of House Team Member hours to ensure compliance with posted schedules.
  • Ensure that the dining room areas are secure at the end of the business day.
• Communication and Collaboration
  • Maintain positive, open communication with the Back of House.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and contribute to the development of a positive and productive work environment.
  Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent related experience required.
    • One-year job-related experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • ServSafe Food, CPR, and TIPS Certifications (may be completed upon hire).
  • Work Schedule
    • Work regularly requires or varies between day, evening, night, holiday, and/or weekend assignments.
  • Uniform and Appearance
    • Professional attire according to Suburban Inns guidelines.
    • Shoes need to be closed-toed and non-slip.
    • Hair must be kept well-groomed.
    • All facial piercings and tattoos that are not covered by a work uniform must be approved by management.
