Russell Square Consulting is a multi-state developer and licensed general contractor with employees based in five states in the western half of the United States.

We specialize in multifamily development and are responsible for all phases of the real estate development process from site selection to lease-up.

Our current pipeline consists of 2300+ apartments slated to begin construction over the coming 14 months in various states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with project teams to set up individual project folders, track reports, budgets, schedules, logistics plans, and corporate reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of pro forma development budgets and property operating budgets under the direction of a Development Manager.
  • Assist in evaluating properties and their development potential, identifying areas of risk in the due diligence and conceptual design phase, and assist in ordering and reviewing third-party reports.
  • Assist in preparing, negotiating, and executing consultant agreements.
  • Manage all aspects of the land use entitlement process with applicable government authorities.
  • Attend project and program meetings, and help to advance the project.
  • Coordinate project schedules, specifications, and reporting requirements for project partners.
  • Ensure the project is on time, on or under budget, and built to the highest standard of quality.
  • Coordinate and manage all consultants to ensure that applications, permit submittals, and responses are delivered in a prompt manner.
  • Organize the process of identifying scope and analyzing proposals from consultants related to pre-construction site preparation.
  • Perform other research and analytical duties as necessary to support development execution, such as City code and zoning research, impact fees, and easements.
  • Organize and manage the FF&E process.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of development experience on multifamily projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of multifamily trades, ability to analyze construction documents, and ability to read blueprints.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Knowledge of PC and construction and business software, including scheduling, estimating, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate an automobile and possess a valid state-approved driver's license.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and follow-up, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
