Job Title: Family Services Specialist II

Children's Council of San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled Family Services Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance and Program Supports department, you will play a critical role in supporting low-income families in and around San Francisco by evaluating and maintaining their eligibility to receive financial assistance for childcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records for families receiving subsidized childcare services.
  • Provide tailored information and referrals to community resources and support services as needed.
  • Collaborate with other program staff to plan and participate in client services such as playgroups, workshops, and special projects.
  • Attend parent appeal hearings and support actions taken affecting families' service levels.
Requirements:
  • Some knowledge of San Francisco community resources and Child Development Programs.
  • Familiarity with procedures and programs administered by California Department of Education.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and community-based organizations.
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office Suite products.
