As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing financial services, including the preparation and processing of transactions and financial statements with supporting schedules and work papers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Processing and Bank Reconciliations: Ensure accurate and timely processing of cash transactions and reconcile bank statements to maintain a clean and accurate general ledger.
- Record Journal Entries: Accurately record and post journal entries to ensure the integrity of our financial records.
- Maintain General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and Set Up Workpapers and Checklists: Prepare and set up workpapers and checklists to support financial statement preparation and audit processes.
- Prepare Financial Statements and Footnotes: Prepare and review financial statements and footnotes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare Partner Capital Account Information: Prepare and review partner capital account information to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investor Capital Call/Distribution Processing: Process investor capital calls and distributions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with Client's Independent Auditors: Liaise with client's independent auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and address any audit findings.
Requirements, Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a fund administration or private equity firm.
- Skills: Strong accounting and financial analysis skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
