The Fixed Income Junior Portfolio Management Associate plays a crucial role in assisting our global Portfolio Management teams by ensuring the precise and effective execution of investment strategies. This position collaborates across various asset classes and engages with multiple departments within AllianceBernstein, including investment management, operations, technology, sales, and trading. A successful candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in financial markets and will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of our offerings, operational protocols, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Municipal (Muni) team, the individual will be tasked with the efficient execution of fixed income transactions, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and guidelines.

  • Regularly assess portfolios to guarantee compliance with established guidelines, ensuring accuracy in portfolio and security data, along with performance reporting and analysis for various requests.
  • Facilitate the seamless opening and closing of accounts while coordinating with sales and portfolio management to meet client needs.
  • Identify potential enhancements and collaborate with technology teams to redesign and automate processes, aiming to boost operational efficiency, enhance client service, and strengthen risk management controls.
  • Provide comprehensive support to Portfolio Managers, Sales, Trading, and Operations to fulfill client requirements effectively.
