This role entails overseeing the comprehensive credit quality, risk management, workout procedures, and adherence to operational and regulatory standards for a designated lease and loan portfolio within Truist's Equipment Finance division.
Engage with Equipment Finance clients, collaborate with Underwriting and Portfolio management teams, and coordinate with Originations, Credit Risk Management, Asset Management, and other cross-functional partners to conduct continuous portfolio assessments and underwriting for Commercial and Industrial relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and mitigate credit risks associated with portfolio transactions.
- Ensure timely and precise completion of annual reviews, amendment documentation, and credit assessments; maintain quarterly spreads and credit file compliance requirements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of industry trends and asset concentrations within the assigned portfolio, maintaining a proactive approach to identifying potential risks.
- Comply with Truist and Equipment Finance policies, ensuring timely completion of all required training and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Manage distressed credits in collaboration with risk management partners.
- Exemplify Truist's core values and culture in all interactions.
The annual base salary for this position is $125,000.
Qualifications:To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A BA/BS degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Effective multitasking abilities.
- Interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and accountability.
- Proven ability to collaborate across various functional areas.
- An MBA degree with a focus on Finance.
- Experience in diversified product structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management.
